 A short exchange between Miley Cyrus and one of her fans is quickly becoming one of the most talked about topics on Twitter. After Cyrus posted a picture of her new pro-equal rights tattoo, one fan, MileyCyrusLuver, tweeted that the pop singer and actress shouldn’t be supporting gay rights, citing several Bible passages. Though the two disagreed, neither harbored ill-will toward each other, the young fan even posting she was thrilled Cyrus messaged her directly. What followed next, however, was a deluge of hate-filled messages directed toward MileyCyrusLuver from Cyrus’ fans, ranging from telling the girl to go kill herself to suggesting she walk directly in front of traffic.

Cyrus will star in and produce the untitled project from writers Sam Brown and Jack Angelo. Paramount has preemptively picked up an untitled comedy pitch with Miley Cyrus attached to star and produce. Cyrus will produce with her mother Tish Cyrus via the duo’s Hope Town Entertainment banner. Also producing is Andrew Panay, whose credits include Wedding Crashers and When in Rome. The logline for the high-concept comedy from writers Sam Brown and Jack Angelo is being kept under wraps but it is understood to involve a broken promise to God. Producing via Panay Films’ is Adam Glass; Jodi Zuckerman Weiner would exec produce. Brown and Angelo, repped by UTA, have set up several comedies around town, including Undateable, with Adam Shankman producing, housed at Disney. The 24-year-old star – who is best known for her role as vampire Alice Cullen in the ‘Twilight Saga’ movie series – admits she always enjoys the opportunity to join new films, including forthcoming comedy ‘LOL’ but is always "intimidated” before starting. She said: "It has been equally terrifying and exhilarating. With ‘Twilight’ at least you are basically growing with this character. So doing something like ‘LOL’ that is a comedy, which I have never done before, with an incredible cast and a really great director was very intimidating. "But I feel like if it wasn’t that way there would be a problem. Everything I do I am a little bit afraid of because I care about it and I want to do a great job.
